I love seeing the trees come back to life and the spring flowers blooming! Spring is a beautiful season!
Moda designer, Deb Strain is coming back to In Stitches on Tuesday, May 11, speaking at 6:30 pm. Reservations are $3 due by May 7. If you had signed up for any of the previous dates and can come this time, please let me know. You need not pay again, but I do need to know how many chairs to have. Deb is a delight to hear speak.
Spring and patriotic fabrics have arrived! They include: A Country Weekend by Wilmington Prints; Moda fabrics: Spring Brook by Cory Yoder; A Blooming Bunch by Maureen McCormick; American Gatherings by Primitive Gatherings; America the Beautiful by Deb Strain; and Prairie Dreams by Kansas Troubles. We are waiting on a Farmer’s Prayer by Wing and a Prayer designs for Timeless Treasures and Violet Hill by Holly Taylor for Moda.
If you haven’t heard, I have the building up for sale. I am planning on retiring this year and want to sell the building first. If you know of anyone that would like to own a quilt shop, I’d be happy to talk to them! It’s been a great 17+ years – meeting quilters, traveling to market to get new goodies, and just having fun with fabric.
Hope to see you soon!
Cathy for all of us at In Stitches!
Winners of a $25 gift certificate are those who have reached 50 yards in fabric purchases.
